I have a pair of old black leather boots, can I use shoe polish to turn them white?

No the leather has already been tanned to that color. the leather


will not absorb the white polish

Reply:No polish won%26#039;t do it, but look for some leather dye. You might have to make a phone call or two to locate it, but strip the shoe first with alcohol and a rag then use the leather dye. Finish by applying the polish.

Reply:Try spray paint! Ihave done this to shoes back in my %26#039;Bar%26#039; days. I have also used a hot glue gun to affix cool animal prints to shoes and purses. Good Luck!
