What takes scratches out of brown leather?

I got some really cute leather boots that are brown a couple of days ago and the very first time I wore them to school they somehow got all scratched up. Is there a way that I cam make the scratches dissapear or atleast become less noticeable? Please help... I really do love these boots!

What takes scratches out of brown leather?
boot polish is your best chance really good stuff

i doubt it will take it completely away though

be more care full with your booots !!! =]
Reply:It is possible that leather conditioner such as Lexol buffed into them might be able to remove the scuffs etc- please test in an inconspicuos place as there are so many types of leather- and what works for one might stain another.
Reply:take some baby oil and rub it in . It should make it less noticable.
Reply:Well first, scratches cant be removed. They will be there.

If its only a small scruffy scratch, you can use a razor blade to smooth the area around the scratch, or maybe a fine grit sandpaper. You can dye and polish the boots afterward.

If the scratch is deep, there isnt much to do about it.

DONT use baby oil. It will damage the leather, cause it dry out, and make the area worse.

See if there is a leather worker/shoe repair store in your area, that can give an idea of fixing the boots, and matching leather dye and polish to your boots.
Reply:Go online to coach.com or go to a coach store and buy leather cleaner. i'm not sure if it will get the scratches out, but it's worth a shot.

Or, if you don't want to buy the product you can call coach or any other quality leather supplier and ask what might help.
