I am wearing this dress to an upcoming holiday party. Here is a link...

I would like to know if you people think these boots would look good with it.

Or if I should go with something more like these....

Unfortunately I cannot wear much of a heel due to having knee surgery recently. Does anyone have any thoughts about these two boots? Thanks in advance!

Will this dress look good with these boots?
I'd go with the second boot, it's dressier.
Reply:the smaller ones.
Reply:Love the dress... and that color! The second pair of boots would give you a more classy look... and also, it creates a better balance between dress and footwear.
Reply:personally i would wear flats but since u want boots i would go with the second kind because the first kind are too much like the dress and it would be too matchy matchy...hope i helped and have fun at your party
Reply:i like the scrunch boots. Go for the black micro-suede
Reply:In my opinion I think you should go with the small boots!
Reply:dont wear boots.
Reply:I love the dress and I would go with the longer boot; the second one linked. I think the shorter boot does not really fit with the dress. Sorry to hear about your knee; hope you're feeling better soon : ) Have fun at the party.
Reply:Find different shoes, both of those don't match your dress at all.
Reply:i dont think eaither would look good, try some cute flats
Reply:I like the scrunch boots better since the dress is a little plain. It'll make it pop!
Reply:i think the 2nd ones because they aren't so "trendy".

(they're more classy for the dress being made of velvet)

be careful with that dress, when you sit down it makes lines on the velvet, so be aware.

%26lt;3 good luck
Reply:Do the second boot-

scrunched boots don't look good with that..
Reply:i like the taller ones, in the second link that you posted. I think with that legnth dress, you will be much better matched with the higher boots.
Reply:love the dress, which color did you choose? I think the boots are a bit chunky, what about the ones pictured next to them, with a bit of a slouch to them? Opps, I didn't see the second website to check out. Still would like a high book with a slouch to them..
Reply:I think the second option looks much better.

It gives your body a longer (slimming) line.

Everyone can benefit from that
Reply:the first boot looks a lot better with that dress. They would look good with it, as well as with other outfits =) may i suggest wearing a belt with the dress to make it cuter? it's a little plain. yeah, the second boots just don't match with the dress.
Reply:Those scrunch boots for sure. The other ones will cover so much of your leg that the dress reveals.
Reply:the second one,s definitely

but i dont like the idea of dresses with boots

maybe a dressy shirt with daark jeans and then boots?
Reply:i would def go with the taller ones =] cuter and they will look better with the shape, style, and length of the dress!!!
Reply:maybe you should do really

cute flats instead of boots

it can still look polished %26amp; cute
