Why are boots so expensive?

I've been looking at leather boots and other boots from brands like Frye, Fornarina, Miss Sixty and Dolce Vita . They are soooo expensive and I cannot afford to pay like 300-400$$ for a pair. I really love the styles though and that's the only reason I like them I dont care about the brand name. I cant find any other boots that look like these styles that are also inexpensive. Can someone help?

Reply:Definately go with Frye boots.I have a pair and I love them to pieces.They're expensive because they're hand stitched and are made from high quality leather and overall are a really good quality boot and will last you forever if you take care of them.
Reply:Your so right, boots are expensive and once you find a style you like its hard to find something affordable and close to the name brand. Try outlet stores and discount department places such as TG Max, AJ Wright, Value City, Burlington Coat Factory, and Marshalls.
