Does a pair of black leather knee high boots go with a red halter knee length dress? Is it formal enough?

What are you dressing for? Since you seem to want formal, then no, wearing a red halter, knee length skirt %26amp; knee length boots won%26#039;t get you there. Dressing formal means just that...formal. It means conservatively. It means you%26#039;ll have to spring for a long dress, or a long skirt with a nice blouse. It really depends on the occasion, such as wedding, business dinner, Christmas party or other such activity. Now, me being a biker chick, I like the boots. But wearing them for a formal occasion is a no-no. I don%26#039;t know if you%26#039;ve ever saw the show What Not To Wear, but it%26#039;s quite informative in teaching you how and what to wear. I believe they have a website, found on TLC (the Learning Channel), you might want to check it out. Maybe there%26#039;s some tips that will help you make a good choice for your occasion. %26lt;*)))%26gt;%26lt;

Reply:I would never consider boots %26quot;formal attire%26quot;. Heels sound more appropriate with your red dress....

fashion has evolved. do what you want. what feels right to you. who cares about other people opinions?
Reply:~*if it%26#039;s not cheap leather, i suppose it%26#039;s okay!*~
Reply:Not formal at all, maybe the kind of outfit to go clubbing in if your looking for some action
Reply:try a red halter dress (plunging) and skip the leather boots with a soft sandal or stilleto...the dress is hot enough to carry itself..you dont need the leather boots since it may seem something else for somebody..
Reply:It%26#039;s not %26#039;formal%26#039;, but it IS a hot look for a club !
Reply:Yeah,if you%26#039;re going to a western party
