Boots of Spanish Leather or As Tears Go By. Who would you look to if you were singing your heart out?

Not sure what you are getting at.....

If it is information.....

Bob Dylan wrote "Boots" but Nancy Griffith also sang it. "Tears" was written by Andrew Loog Oldham as well as as Keith Richards and Mic Jagger. And it was sung by the "Stones" as well as Marianne Faithful.

If its a matter of preference......"Boots" is the choice and if I HAD to choose, Dylan is the heart I want to sing out.

Boots of Spanish Leather or As Tears Go By. Who would you look to if you were singing your heart out?
I'm not totally sure I get the question but if you're basically asking which of the two would I sing if I was singing my heart out, Dylan's 'Boots of Spanish Leather' is certainly a good one -- especially if you are bitter and want to add a little sarcasm.

Another advantage of that song is that the music is exactly the same as another of Bob Dylan's early songs, "Girl from the North Country" -- which is far less sarcastic and just as emotional (in case the moment called for it! ;-)).
