Questions about skirts and boots?

I love the long skirts and knee high boots style.





I'm a college freshman and I was just wondering, is it weird for a college girl to wear long skirts (around the knee and a little bit lower--not mini skirts) and knee high boots (not uggs or winter boots, but leather ones with high heels) to class? I always see girls wearing jeans, mini skirts, and short dresses with sneakers or flats, but never long skirts with leather high heeled boots.

work out? What kind of leather boots will look better? Thick heels, thin heels, flats? Pointy, rounded toes, or in between?

and I hear they look really good with jeans. What kind of jeans, though? Dark colored, light colored? Flares, skinny?

I think higher, thinner heels and either a pointed or rounded toe. The square toe boots look too western-y for the skirt.





Personally, I like the skirts and boots look. I don't really like jeans and ankle boots. Calf or knee high boots look better to me - it looks odd when a woman sits and the tops of her boots are visible. Plus I've women get their jeans stuck on the tops of their ankle boots.

Reply:the lenghth of the skirt should be fine with those boots, although i prefer a skinnier heel.





i think it is a good idea to try and look different, just as long as it's not ugly!!

Reply:The skirt would look better with the high boots. As far as with jeans the tall boots would go with dark denim skinny jeans and the regular boots would look better with flare jeans.

Reply:What constitutes weird? Develop your own style. Be an individual. Be who you are, not who others think you should be.
Reply:I am not sure about the longer skirt with knee-high boots, unless you have a model's body... But I can totally see this length of a skirt with the second (ankle-high) boots, which are, by the way, a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e!!! I want to buy them, but it does not fit my student budget :) As far as shorter booties with the jeans - no flare! Wear skinny jeans... you can tuck them in :) Of course, dark-colored jeans... Light colored skinny jeans look weird. Of course, you can also wear shorter skirts and dresses with either two boots, unless you are entirely opposed to wearing short stuff.
